Week 2
All the ideas from the design proposal had to be implemented. First and foremost, it was necessary to gather the materials needed for this project. Research was divided between the team members to research the required materials. A circuit board of some sort was necessary for the basic programming. One challenge the teammates ran into is finding a size small enough to fit into the band without making bulky. After some research, it was decided that an Arduino board is more suitable for the job. An order for an Arduino board was placed to set the beginning designs for the monitor into motion. The Arduino board will be the basic circuit needed for the programming of the monitor. It will aid in calculating the target heart rate based on the input that the user provides.
